A social worker who fraudulently claimed £59,000 in benefits has been thrown out of the profession. Doreen Mudenda claimed disability living allowance in 1999 after suffering from serious health conditions which affected her mobility. But when her physical health condition improved from May 2003, she did not notify the authorities of a change in her circumstances and continued to claim handouts.
