Spurs keeper fined £50,000 and banned for 20 months for drink driving

Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris was fined £50,000 and banned from taking the wheel for 20 months after he admitted being more than twice the drink-drive limit. The France goalkeeper had joined two friends at a Mayfair restaurant in the early hours where he was showered with drinks from fellow diners.
