Suicidal woman told to ‘go shopping’

A midwife told a suicidal pregnant woman that she should cheer herself up by doing some shopping, a hearing was told. Heather Lort is accused of misconduct in the care of two babies, both of whom later died, at Ludlow Hospital, part of the scandal-hit Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust.
