Teacher caught with thousands of child pictures was ‘safeguarding lead’

An assistant headteacher caught with 11,500 images and videos of children is facing jail. Gareth Mellor, 43, was tracked down by NCA investigators after making a Bitcoin payment for indecent images of children through an encrypted cloud storage service.
