Teacher to stand trial for assaulting seven-year-old

  A primary school teacher accused of assaulting an unruly seven-year-old pupil will stand trial in November. Pamela Mucci, 46, is said to have been too heavy-handed with the boy after he lashed out at a colleague at Athelney Primary School, in Lewisham, on 5 December last year. Mucci, who has 20 years’ classroom experience, allegedly injured the youngster whilst escorting him to another room.
