Terrorist ignored notification requirements

A convicted Al Qaida terrorist has appeared in court accused of nine offences of failing to comply with a notification order. Habib Ahmed, 43, was jailed for 10 years in 2008 for membership of the terror group Al Qaida and possessing terror-related documents. Ahmed, who had worked as a cabbie in Manchester, was the lieutenant of Rangzieb Ahmed, who had plotted to commit mass murder. Rangzieb, of Rochdale, was jailed for life with a minimum of 10 years in 2008….
