Tesco driver who killed PhD student escapes jail

A Tesco lorry driver who killed a cyclist when he cut across her path and drove over her has been spared jail. Romanian Daniel Pascan, 42, continued with his journey after Chuijiang Kong, 23, was crushed under his truck on Wood Lane, near the junction with the A40 Westway in Shepherd’s Bush.
