Three ‘canal killers’ in court accused of murdering teenager Victor Lee

A 14-year-old boy has denied murdering a teenager found with stab wounds in a canal.

Victor Lee, 17, from Ealing, west London, was pulled out alive from the Grand Union Canal near Ladbroke Grove, on 25 June.

But Despite efforts to save his life he was pronounced dead at the scene, the Old Bailey heard.

The 14-year-old, and two older boys, aged 16 and 17, who cannot be named, denied murder and robbery of Mr Lee’s bike and rucksack.

Police believe the stabbing took place on the Grand Union towpath under Scrubs Lane.

The teens will next appear for a further case management hearing on 20 December,with their four week trial date set for 7 May 2024.
