Three year trial wait for man accused of nicking a Banksy

An alleged thief accused of stealing a piece of ‘Banksy’ anti-war street art will not stand trial until January 2028. Leon Lawrence, 45, is charged with theft of the ‘STOP’ sign with three drones on it on 22 December 2023.
