Grandfather beaten to death with plank

A thug who battered a grandfather to death in the street with a plank of wood faces jail today (MON). Ben Harper, 21, attacked father-of-six Clemuth Roberts, 58, after the victim confronted him with a machete in Dagenham, east London.
