Trader denies nicking necklace

A City trader denied stealing a diamond necklace and a ring worth more than £36,000 from his estranged wife after their marriage broke down. Giovanni De Bustis Figarola, 42, allegedly thieved the jewellery from his ex-partner, Raffaella Galliano, while divorce proceedings were still active. The Italian allegedly took the valuables from a safe at their former home in Fulham, southwest London, in 2014. Ms Galliano reported Figarola to police when she discovered they were missing more than a year later….
