Jail for Tranmere Rovers fan who racially abused player

A football fan who racially abused Forest Green Rovers winger Jordon Garrick has been jailed for nine months. Ryan Ferguson, aged 24 and of Barberry Crescent in the Netherton area of Merseyside, appeared at Gloucester Crown Court for sentencing.
