Truck driver killed woman as she crossed road

A breakdown truck driver who killed a 66-year-old woman as she crossed the road pushing a shopping trolley was spared jail. Nai Khenh Vong was also clutching a walking stick when she was knocked over on a pedestrian crossing in Hackney, by 44-year-old Rashid Elsraidi, at the wheel of a DAF HGV.
