Trucker who killed pedestrian walks free

A lorry driver who ran over and killed a pensioner in ‘a momentary lapse of concentration’ has been spared jail. Wilfred Warrington, 74, known was Curtis, was struck by 52-year-old Colin Grimshaw’s Mercedes-Benz Arocs lorry in New Malden, south London, on 21 July 2022 just after 3pm.
