Turk in court over terror magazine

A Turkish man accused of keeping an political magazine containing bomb-making instructions on his bedroom bookshelf will stand trial in December. Alaettin Kalender, 50, appeared at the Old Bailey today (Fri) charged with possessing information useful for purposes of terrorism. The magazine ‘Devrimci Sol November 1997’ is linked to the Turkish far-left militant group, the Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C).
