Two year wait for Dial-a-Cab Credit Union trial

Three former company directors accused of defrauding a credit union for cab drivers in a case that led to a £21m bailout must wait more than two years to stand trial. Former taxi driver John Riley, 72, Terence Dodd, 75, and Brian Flanagan, 71, are charged with four counts of fraud by abuse of position between September 2012 and September 2018.
