US courts ‘are prejudiced against Nigerian fraudsters’

Three fraudsters accused of conning American universities out of millions of dollars are fighting extradition on the grounds that US courts are prejudiced against Nigerians. Oludayo Adeagbo, 41, allegedly scammed three colleges out of nearly $5million (£4m) between 2016 and 2018. Donald Echeazu, 39, is also facing extradition for his part in swindling North Carolina’s Appalachian State University out of $1.9 million (£1.5m) in 2016.
