A man accused of biting a policeman’s thumb in a ‘venus fly trap’ style attack is to stand trial. Anton Ward, 26, allegedly chomped down on Acting Sergeant Lee Wilson’s thumb in Liverpool Street Station after he tried to escort him out of the toilet.
