White van man’s 70mph police chase

A white van man rammed a police car in a terrifying 70mph car chase through 20mph zones, a court heard. Garry Lynch, 35, narrowly dodged pedestrians while trying to escape then smashed into a traffic island. The mechanic noticed a police patrol following him and accelerated away to evade arrest in Hornsey, north London on April 18 this year.
