Homeless conman jailed for government sting

A homeless conman who posed as a business expert to fleece a government department out of thousands of pounds has been jailed for two years. Michael Frempong-Taylor, 45, tricked three business into paying £6,000 to join the Department for Business and Innovation scheme which has since been shut down. The fraudster pretended to be a business guru and told the companies he would later write off the fees in exchange for being put in touch with more contacts to swindle….
