A finance officer appeared in court today accused of stealing more than three quarters of a million pounds from a Notting Hill Carnival charity. Nadia Ali, 34, is said to have helped herself to £784,262 while working for the Carnival Village Trust in Powis Square, Notting Hill. She is also accused of stealing ‘financial documents and letters’ belonging to the trust between 1 December 2012 and 7 March 2016.
