Thieving son’s ‘spectacular’ spending spree

A teenage son stole more than £1million from his severely disabled father and went on a ‘spectacular’ spending spree, a court heard today (thurs). Geovonne Oliver blew some of the cash on designer watches and various motors including a £64,000 BMW, with the personalised number plate number plate G7 GIO. Oliver, now 21, has admitted theft while Jaques Konate, 21, and Boon Tai, 44, deny laundering more than £250,000 of the stolen money between them. Prosecutor David Hughes told jurors…
