Tory aide Christopher Cash appears in court accused of spying for China

A Tory parliamentary aide appeared in court accused of passing secrets to China. Chris Cash, 29, along with 32-year-old teacher Christopher Berry are charged with giving ‘articles, notes, documents or information’ to a foreign state under the Official Secrets Act. Cash is a former director of an influential China policy group with links to security minister Tom Tugendhat and foreign affairs committee chairman Alicia Kearns.
