27 years for killer who chopped up victim’s body

A ‘violent’ and ‘manipulative’ killer who dismembered a ‘vulnerable’ hostel resident and dumped his body in the woods while on licence has been handed a 27-year life sentence. Dajour Jones, 27, smashed 20-year-old James Gilbey over the head and stabbed him repeatedly in a ‘brutal, sustained and particularly disturbing attack’ in Upper Norwood, south London. Jones chopped up his victim’s body and put the parts into bin bags before smuggling them out of the Fitze Millennium Centre in a suitcase….
