Fraudster tried to pull off house scam after prison release

A fraudster tried to pocket £7m from a crooked house sale just months after he was released from prison for his part in a £90m scam, a court heard. Mitain Conrad, 38, was jailed for seven years in 2011 after he pulled off a series of mortgage and VAT scams. Following Conrad’s release from jail on licence in 2014 he embarked on a highly sophisticated scam relating to the sale of a £10m house in Pelham Place, Kensington, southwest London….
