Two year wait for art theft trial
A woman accused of stealing more than £15,000 worth of artwork and ornaments from her employer must wait two years to stand trial. Maria Susana Mendes, 54, admitted stealing a £7,800 print by Australian photographer and a £3,100 piece by Texas based Michelle Y Williams belonging to Jessica Mort.
