MALKIN: WEB USER UP ON CHILD SEX CHARGES
An alleged paedophile accused of trying to arrange to meet a child for sex will face a trial at crown court.
Robert Malkin, 38, is said to have been caught out by undercover police officers posing as chat room users who could introduce him to children.
French-born Malkin also faces charges distributing child porn over the internet using a specialist website.
Malkin of (42) Cranmer Road, Clapham, southwest London, is yet to enter pleas to six counts of distributing indecent images of children, and one count of attempting to arrange or facilitate the commission of a child sex offence.
He was remanded in custody for a trial at Southwark Crown Court on January 16.
