Suspected conman on the run

An alleged conman is on the run after he leeched nearly £25,000 by stealing card readers to make illegal refunds in a 48-hour crime spree. Joseph Farrugia, 22, made nine fraudulent withdrawals at swanky Japanese restaurant Kurobuta on Kings Road on 27 February. Another five were made from Audi dealership in Brentford on 3 March, and one at Harrods, Brompton Road, on 6 March, totalling £24,941.39.
