Grenfell Tower baby died in mother’s arms

A coroner opened the inquests of seven more victims of the Grenfell Tower inferno, including a baby found dead in her mother’s arms in the burning building. Dr Fiona Wilcox offered her ‘sincere condolences’ to those who had been touched by the deaths and praised the ‘ability and dignity’ of victims’ relatives at court. Two residents were found outside the tower block, while five others were discovered in stairwells, near lifts and inside their flats trying to escape the flames….
