Crooked cashier hid drug conviction to land Waitrose job

A Waitrose employee stole thousands of pounds by scanning gift cards after she failed to tell her employers about a conviction for smuggling drugs into jail. Cherelle Quarshie, 29, pocketed £4,500 while working on the tills at the upmarket food store in Victoria Street, Westminster.
