Let-off for crooked Waitrose cashier

A Waitrose employee who stole thousands of pounds from her employers by scanning gift cards to pay off a debt has been spared jail. Cherelle Quarshie, 29, stole £4,500 while working on the tills at the upmarket food store in Victoria Street, Westminster in June last year.
