Accused of pensions scam

Two accused fraudsters denied their involvement in a £13.7m pension scam . Alan Barratt, 61, and Julian Hanson, 56, allegedly persuaded their victims to part with their savings between 2012 and 2014. The Pensions Regulator, bringing the prosecution, alleges 245 people were persuaded to transfer a total of £13.7m into pension schemes controlled by the duo.
