Bent bank manager was online slot machine addict

A Santander bank manager who took £179,000 from the accounts of ‘elderly and vulnerable customers’ to feed her addiction to online slot machines has been jailed for 18 months. Charlotte Mills, 33, was supposed to be supporting victims of fraud when she took the cash while working as a customer service manager at the bank. Her work at the Farringdon Santander branch only made it easier for Mills to identify victims aged between 55 and 90 who would be vulnerable….
