Man battered his dad to death with a champagne bottle

A son accused of battering his elderly father to death with a champagne bottle was remanded in custody. Deekan Paul Singh Vig, 53, allegedly killed Arjan Singh Vig, 86, at their home in Southgate, north London, after drinking half a bottle of whisky on 30 October.
