Nicked for killing this man five years later

An accused killer was arrested in Heathrow Airport after flying in from Canada five years after he allegedly stabbed a man to death.

Jarrad Spence Robinson, 24, is said to have murdered 23-year-old Seun McMillan, known as Shey, in Cowper Gardens, Southgate, north London, on 2 May 2017.

Prosecutor Paul Jarvis said Mr McMillan had been to visit a friend and arrived in Cowper Gardens at around 7pm.

‘The inference the Crown see here is that somebody had tipped Mr Spence Robinson off with the fact that Mr McMillan was on his way to Cowper Gardens….and he made his way there to confront the deceased.

‘Mr McMillan suffered a single stab wound to the chest…and did not survive the injury.’

Mr Jarvis went on: ‘He was arrested finally on 15 February this year retuning to the UK from Canada.’

The defendant was remanded in custody ahead of a plea and trial preparation hearing on 6 May this year.

Spence Robinson, of Whitmore Close, Enfield, north London, faces the charge of murder.
