Youth remanded over ‘zombie killer knife murder’

A youth accused of stabbing a teenager to death with a ‘zombie killer knife’ was remanded in custody today (mon). The 17-year-old, who cannot be named, is accused of murdering 18-year-old Ghulam Sadiq in Ferndale Road, Leytonstone, east London, on 6 August. Mr Sadiq is said to have run away from his attacker onto Leytonstone High Road before collapsing. Police were called at 2:15pm to reports that a man had been stabbed.
