Arson attack at Waitrose

An alleged arsonist accused of starting a fire at Waitrose in Belgravia has appeared in court. Kamal Majumder, 29, is charged with arson with intent to endanger life at Motcomb Street, Belgravia, on 11 September last year. Majumder appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court today wearing a black jacket and a maroon hat. He spoke only to confirm his name and address.
