Trial for accused killer of Jorge Ortega

An alleged killer accused of murdering a London Underground worker while he was at work will stand trial in July. Ayodele Jamgbadi, 28, allegedly beat Elizabeth Line assistant Jorge Ortega, 61, to death in Ilford, east London, on 4 December. Jamgbadi was initially charged with causing grievous bodily harm but that was later upgraded to murder.
