Millionaire conman took over £200k from one elderly woman

A greedy financial adviser who preyed on elderly and vulnerable clients to make more than £1.1m has been jailed for more than five years. Andrew Pownall, 67, conned more than a dozen victims in their 80s and 90s between March 2014 and September 2023 by leading them to believe their money was being invested in funds.
