Bent pastor jailed for £1.5m Gift Aid con

An accountant for a children’s charity teamed up a crooked pastor to steal £1.5m in a Gift Aid scam, a court heard. Kwabena Duodu, 51, used his share of the stolen money to help buy a £550,000 house. Duodu cheated the Gift Aid system using the details of 10 evangelical churches across the north and east of London.
