Accused of mowing down cops

A driver accused of hitting two officers with his car as they tried to stop him will stand trial next year. Harry Mackenney, 32, allegedly drove at the PCs on Avenue Road, Penge, shortly after 11pm on February 22 last year. The two officers were taken to hospital after the incident.
