Accused of swindling £50 – cleared in 31 minutes

A West End cinema worker who went on trial for fraud after £50 was paid into his account from a customer refund scheme has been cleared by a jury in 31 minutes. Andre Thompson, 21 was accused of taking part in the scam while working at Picturehouse Central on Shaftesbury Avenue.
