Accused of swindling the elderly

An accused fraudster will stand trial for impersonating the police and taking thousands of pounds from elderly people. Andrew Gordon, 57, allegedly forced his victims to hand over ‘expensive, high value items and sums of money’ while acting as a police courier. Jordan Pratt, prosecuting, said: ‘In terms of the offences themselves, over £5,000 was taken from one victim and another £11,500 from another and a Rolex watch to the value of £29,300 was taken from another victim.’ Gordon appeared…
