Accused wife killer released on bail

A pensioner accused of strangling his 80-year-old wife to death at their home was released on bail by a judge today (tues). Alan Sharp, 80, is charged with murdering his wife Jenny Sharp at their home in Raeburn Avenue, Tolworth, Surrey. Police were called to the address at 9.30am on 19 July and Mrs Sharp was found unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at 9.32am. Sharp was arrested and charged with murder the next day.
