Algerian came to the UK to steal thousands of pounds worth of laptops

An Algerian migrant who stole laptops worth thousands of pounds during a two-month crime spree is facing jail. Munir Ghilas, 28, targeted 16 separate victims unwinding in bars in central London between 5 August and 25 September this year. Ghilas grabbed a laptop worth £2,700, along with other items, from Matthew Bourn in All Bar One, on Byward Street in the City worth £3,450 from Matthew Bayman on August 5.
