Algerian teenager denies gold chain theft
Two teenagers accused of robbing a gold chain from a Nepalese tourist in London’s West End will stand trial next February. Algerian Abdoulaye Sow and Mamadou Bah, 19, allegedly snatched the necklace from Pratick Gurung on 25 July this year. Only Sow appeared at Southwark Crown Court today, wearing a grey prison-issue T-shirt and aided by a French interpreter as he denied one count of robbery.
