Art fraudster caught out by his dodgy spelling

An art fraudster who tried to sell fake sculptures for up to £680,000 was caught out by the typeface on his forged paperwork, a court heard. Andrew Crowley, 46, submitted invoices for the statues that he claimed were written in 1976 – but the typeface was only invented in 2001.
