Bank fraudster gets four years

A fraudster who took part in a £1m scam on Metro Bank when he was 16 has been jailed for four years. Samillah Safi, 20, acted as a ‘mule’ in the scam which ran between 12 October 2017 and 10 May 2018. Southwark Crown Court heard criminals targeted the high street lender because it was so easy to open an account.
