Bank fraudsters plundered £700,000 from pensioners
A fraudster and two bankers who plundered more than £700,000 from pensioners’ savings accounts have been jailed for a total of nearly 13 years. Babar Hussain, 41, recruited personal bank account managers Abubaker Salim, 36, and Taminder Virdi, 33, who worked at branches of Lloyds TSB and Santander in Wood Green and Stoke Newington.
