BBC producer ‘was chemsex dealer’

An award-winning former BBC producer has gone on trial accused of trying to supply a hoard of ‘chemsex’ party drugs. Alexander Parkin, 42, who won nine Sony awards for his work with the BBC, and Ioana Costache, 28, were caught with nearly seven litres of GBL on 28 September last year, it is claimed. The class C drug – known as ‘liquid ecstasy’ – is used legitimately as an alloy cleaner and solvent but was never intended for human consumption….
